For all the pedants out there I meant over the Christmas period, i.e. between now and interview time. I'm a graduate who could do with some interactive case practice rather than answering out of a book, so no, I'm not santa claus.

Perhaps to supplement your case-study practice you should consider joining Tony Restell's 'How to Ace your Case Study' webinar. The next one is being held on Friday 25th January between 4 and 5.30. To find out more and to see feedback from previous participants please click on the following link: http:// www.top-consultant.com/UK/events/Article_display.asp?ID=140

Apart from one girl getting into Bain, which she probably would have anyway, these 'webinars' don't seem to help much, and the price is insane. Treat this as a case and think about opportunity cost, you can buy three good books instead. Don't waste your money.

'Wow', you've obviously followed the link as you refer to the woman that thanked Tony for his help, following her offer from Bain. But you imply that she's the only participant in the webinars that has found the course beneficial and that's simply not true - look at the page again. When Tony was a consultant at Roland Berger, he was involved heavily in the recruitment process so he knows what he's talking about and if he can help individuals to out-perform their fellow candidates then that's got to be well-worth £89+VAT

Maybe I missed something but when I glanced at the testimonies, there weren't many getting into MBB. I wouldn't mind knowing what the success rate is.

I'd say that's because most people on the calls are not going for interviews at MBBB firms. Many past attendees have been to MBBB interviews, not made it and then come on the call to ensure that the interviews they have lined up with other firms go as well as possible thereafter. But everyone who's been through MBBB interviews has confirmed on the call that what they faced in their MBBB interviews was exactly the same as what we cover - and that the approaches I recommend would have been very beneficial to them in their MBBB interviews. Which as I'm an ex-strategy consultant myself and that's where my interviewing experience derives from, I guess should come as no surprise.I don't have a definitive reason for why we don't have more people coming onto the calls as they're preparing for MBBB interviews. I would suspect this is because most MBBB candidates will have had extensive case study interview coaching at their universities / business schools - as this is the kind of training that the likes of Oxbridge, INSEAD, etc. would offer via their career services. So those most likely to get into these firms are also the people who are least likely to need the guidance I offer in these calls.Plus of course there are 100 times more candidates going for interview at places like Accenture / Capgemini / Deloitte / IBM than there are at the MBBB firms, so there's also an inherent reason for participants' testimonials to be skewed in this way.Tony RestellTop-Consultant.com

I was a recent attendee on one of TC's case study webinars and found it extremely useful. As Tony says many people come on to the course having slipped up in previous interview processes, this was certainly the case with me. I found the content very helpful and beyond that also found the fact that I had addressed a weakness in my game did approach subsequent interviews feeling more confident and ready; which can also be a major boost to a calm demeanour and a logical, considered approach. I have now received an MBB offer, which I am of course delighted with. I am pleased I made the effort to take the course, and would and have recommended it to others.
