When applying for graduate entry into consulting (IT) I have noticed most organisations demand a certain number of UCAS points. I am now 23 and I will be 24 when I graduate. I am studying a business/IT degree and expect to get a 2:1, I have 2 year experience in IT departments, one year pre university and one year industrial placement in the IT department of one of the biggest brands in the world.Unfortunately I only achieved three Cs at A level. That was 7 years ago and does not reflect the person I am now. Are there any alterative routes I can take to get into grad schemes? What companies will value my experience and degree more then my UCAS points? Would companies check if I “fabricated” my A level results?
