Hi ,I have cleared the first round interview with BAH and waiting for the second round interview. It is gettting quite delayed , Now it is close to 3 weeks . I have been told that they are trying to get dates. Does anybody have any experience with BAH in terms of how much time it can take for the date and then the results?

I would forget it for now. We normally gave 2n round dates within a week of the first. currently recruitment is frozen I believe pending a business review. Too much hiring recently.I would say expect your interview in January now

that would be a good assumption. Also seeing you repeat my words i should check them before posting"we usually give 2nd round interview dates within a week of the 1st. A reasonable expectation would be the actual interview 2 or 3 fridays later"

One more question, In case the interviews are stopped and It is put on hold , will the candidate be informed about it formally ? Or they are just kept like that?

Techguy are you with a recruitment agency? If so they are certainly stringing you along as BAH have pulled the plug on them

with plans to double their head count, does BAH have enough business in the UK?why is there a headcount freeze?

Actually even GP is not the boss , I am contracting so frankly no one is my boss . I am working for HP as an IT contractor

the booz recruitment process seems to be very haphazard - no idea of where one stands and not much structure or date committments.i am interested to know how much work they have in the uk and whether its a good company to join...anyone care to enlighten?

BAH As a company is good. They have an excellent reputation, They are good in salary and growth (If you are capable) . There recruitment is not upto the mark though, Quite haphazard and undecided. They are loosing excellent candidates because they are taking too much time for getting back.

They can but this does not happen normally. Decision to inform agent is not taken lightly. When were you informed verbally that BAH is going to make you an offer?

I am in a very similar position with the same company. I was verbally told by the inhouse HR they were going to make an offer, now they have changed their mind and put it on hold.

My agent told me that all recruitment is put on hold dues to organisational structure review. I feel it is more on the lines of waiting for some more business to convert to justify new recruitments. Does not seem to resolve it self in short time with christmas approaching and traditional slowing down of business
