I am considering a move to Canada to work in consulting (most likely Toronto) and was wondering if anyone could pass on some words of wisdom for the following questions:1) Who the major players currently are in the consulting market?2) What are the pay scales like?3) What do you think is the best way to apply: directly to firms or through headhunters? If the later, which headhunters are best placed for the market?Thanks for your help.

When I was finishing b-school there in 2003, Deloitte were hiring heavily. Pay is similar to the US (non-metro), although with the exchange rate right now it's nrealy on par with US metro. Companies were coming direct to the school to recruit so I don't know about external channels and I didn't come across any agencies.

I am also interested in a move to Canada, can anyone else elaborate on the advice provided?Most of the major players seem to have a Toronto office, but I have no idea how the career levels and salaries translate an ocean away?Any tips?
