Denying the offer in the last

Hi,I do have my appointment letter with a fairly good IT consulting firm and everything is finalized to join it. In parallel, I'm waiting my appointment letter from another equally good organization and also, I'm into negotiation with third company! I have accepted the only offer letter I have received till date and even the company is pretty relaxed from my side. However, I prefer joining the second company and offer letter is expected within a week. Third company is still under negotiation but out of the league basically. I want to get all best expert opinion about denying the offer at the very last moment. I mean what reasons, excuses or anything else I can explain to withdraw my joining (let say a week before)? Does that put a bad impression and impact my business with them in future? Will they black list me forever?? How unethical is this? I mean saying you are now not available. Or is there is good way to deny them in a pretty convincing manner? Any other impact and suggestions regarding this are highly appreciated. Regards,

Just tell them. Frankly based on this post you would be doing them a favour anyway.

Thanks for the suggestion. And that is last option anyway :-P I mean does this appear fair enough. I can't tell them before receiving the second letter. Probably I'll have only a week left or ten days max by that time. And yes, I will tell them but shall I tell it straight about other offer or in some other way ?regards,
Just tell them. Frankly based on this post you would be doing them a favour anyway.
Allow me a 'LOL' here.Sound advice from mars. Just be completely honest with them: let them know you are considering three opportunities and ask for more time to make a decision. If they like you well enough, in my experience I found they will gladly extend your offer.
