Hi there,My situation: I am based in London looking to move to Germany with a (top) management consultancy. I've been working in industry the last few years (after a short stint in consulting). After 2 rounds, the firm that I've applied to has asked me for my salary expectation.Question: What is the salary range for an Engagement Manager (~6 years experience) in Germany for a top firm? Based on my research, I'm guessing EUR 120-140k. Does that sound right?If anyone knows amounts please indicate if it's base/incl. bonus/all-in with car etc. Thank you very much in advance!

The few figures I've seen for engagement managers in Germany - assuming you're referring to McK or similar firms- were in the range of 100 - 120 K€ base.No idea about the German car policy, nor of the typical bonus % that comes on top of the base - for other firms I would have guessed in the order of 10 - 20% but your top firms might have a higher variable piece.Also, these figures were for that level but not necessarily for the 1st year at level.
