Hello,Does anyone know the sort of questions posed during a phone interview testing for analytical skills apart from " Describe your most complex problem and how you solved it"? I have never had this before and doubt that it would be in a case study format or am I wrong?Also, anybody that has been through a telephone interview at SMT consulting is very much welcomed to give me some insight.Thanks a lot

I personally think that questions like the one described are a waste of time. By being put on the spot, a good candidate may not quickly find a good example, and a weaker candidate who is better at fabricating a story on the spot will be at an advantage.

So do you have any ideas on how consulting employers test analytical abilities in telephone interviews?
