I am currently interviewing with a variety of consultancies and a question which keeps popping up is "Why do you want to be a consultant?"I know the standard reponse's of:- 'working on an exciting range of projects within a variety of industries'.- 'getting a total strategic overview of a companies operations'.- 'getting to work with top quality individuals'.- 'travel opportunities'.- 'building a good reputation for myself in the market'but, was wondering if anyone had any ideas for responses which an interviewer may not have heard before and might find half interesting. Thanks
