Hi. Am a 2nd yr Grad and thinking about (dreaded)job applications etc. Want to move into consulting and hear that PWC strategy is a decent place if you are slightly averse to travelling as their clients are primarily based in London.Just wanted the thoughts of anyone who works/has worked there in the area as to culture, w/l balance and importantly, where a role at PWC will put you in a few years time i.e. does it open many other doors (in industry)? I appreciate its not in MBBB territory but how well is it looked upon relatively?Any insight welcomed. Thanks guys

Um.. its an accounting firm. PWC strategy is a very niche player, dealing mainly in CDD projects for PE firms. I've heard their proportion of strat projects is on the up but this may be self-proclaimed. The culture is like other consultancies - pretty intense with periods of downtime. I dont think its as 'face-timey' (hey i created a new adjective) as other places but then again, it is the city..not too sure how well its looked upon in industry - just giving my insight as i have a friend who works there

PwC is pretty respectable... I know folk who have used it as a springboard into MBBB. I'd go for it!
