That's not what we're discussing - so please don't start.I want to know if people still think smoking is cool. And if so, why?Or do you think that having the odd cig break and smelling a little like a bombfire gets you marked down in this highly competitive industry?

there's nothing cooler. A recent poll showed that women still place it as the number one factor which attracts them to males. It's seen as a bad boy thing and women just can't help themselves with the bad boys. So spark one up, be cool and watch the women come running.

Smoking is only cool when you smoke menthols. Otherwise it's hot and/or schmokin'...Seriously though, smoking doesn't go down well in very many workplaces these days - not just professional services. I know a few people who I work with who have the odd cigarette after eating or when we go for drinks, but they're female. There is still a slightly more forgiving attitude towards young women smoking, either because it's so culturally established as a way to keep off the weight, or because there is some erotic connection at the back of some people's minds.

Smelling like a bomfire is rustic and earthy.Smelling like an ashtray is just rude in an open plan office.

Thank God I got rid of this dirt, smoking is an addiction and selfbetrayal all the way! There is nothing good with it and burning your hard earned money is just as stupid and also selfbetrayal, really when you smoke you do not calm down but get even more nervous and shaky - this is selfbetrayal, it stinks, and your mouth becomes a smell like an ashtray! who likes to kiss an ashtray?

Totally cool, 100%. Perhaps not brilliant for one's health but that's the individual's lookout. Just returned from a visit to Scotland where said practice is banned in pubs. Pubs now lifeless souless places..look out London for July
