Hi all,Im currently in the final year of completing PhD in Pharmacy from Nottingham University. I have been thinking about entering the MC industry, although I have no experience of business related experiences in the past (the only experience I have is entering a business plan competition and coming top 5 out of ~50 entrants). Problem is I didnt grow up early enough and acquired 2.2 in my first degree and also have a pretty poor A-level results. I tried to improve my academic record by acquiring MSc (2.1 grade), working hard towards PhD (4 publications, all first author in 3 years) I am bilingual with native fluency in Japanese and English (since I lived half of my life in Japan and England).I am extremely interested in entering in the MC industry but most companies are top-tier uni, 2.1 minimum, good A-levels and work experiences are essential. Does being bilingual and my 'Kaizen' attitude after my BSc enough to land on management consultancy firm? Should I give up here acknowledging that there is no way of going into MC?Apologies for the lengthy message and I appreciate your expert/experienced opinionsThanks

Thanks Anon, I have looked into it in the past and currently try to find out more, together with other MC firms. The only thing about Fujitsu is very IT focused... So I take it as I have no chances with any MC firms apart from Japanese company? Any more thoughts from Anon and anyone? thanks

Phd? Pharmacy? Nottingham? You could always do a few years in Boots and end up in consultancy as an experienced hire.
