Hi, I am currently at uni (manchester) studying physics but became interested in consulting, particularly strategy, at the end of last year. I ended up applying to a few internships (i missed most the deadlines) and got several interviews. However, I think my lack of experience in both interviewing and consulting/business environment really showed thus I was unsuccessful. I have now got an internship in Transaction Support at EY and I am interested to know what would be the major differences with this and strat consulting? Also, if I was offered a grad job at the end of this and I chose to accept it would a move into consultancy later on be fairly smooth or difficult? Or would I be better to apply for grad schemes again next year regardless?Really appreciate your comments... :-)
