The first thing to point out is that an economic recession does not necessarily mean a badly performing stock market.Secondly, the future is bound to see a recession at some point as we are in a boom at the moment. When that wll happen and how bad it will be is anyone's guess though...

I am not capable of giving an answer unless my boss tells me what to think. If you tell me the answer you want to hear, I will gladyl spend 3 months messing around with spreadsheets and powerpoint to find the evidence you need.

And anyway, I've always thought that any forecast of this sort is way too inacurate for anything more than 2 years to be of any use.
