Hi, I&apos;m interviewing for a position at manager level at KPMG Advisory. I would be doing the same thing that I do now at a smaller consultancy, which is in a fairly specialised niche. I am not an accountant and do not have a management consulting background.One thing I&apos;m concerned about is the amount of career development opportunities within KPMG for a non-accountant. Does anyone have any experience of working in a big four firm and being able to develop a consulting career within the company, or am I pretty much going to be stuck in the same niche that I&apos;m in now? Any advice much appreciated.

KPMG has a large and growing consultancy business - the closest that you will come to the accountants is in the canteen!I had similar concerns when I joined a year ago as they do not exactly make this clear in their external marketing.Which sector do you work in?
