....I feel so ashamed. I have a dark secret which is causing me a great deal of inner turmoil.I'm seriously considering applying to BAS.I feel dirty, useless and lacking in direction. Is this normal?

Look I did that too. I currently work in a PE fund out of London, i earn 140k and have 4 years experience. BUT i am in the office until midnight every single night, often later, and work at least 1 full weekend a month. i have no time, energy or willpower to do anything on the weeknd. BAS is a sound 4 hours a week, probably on 60 k which would keep my hourly wage en par - no?Dont be ashamed. But again, dont go there for a career. go there for a lifestyle.

30k ( plus 2k of benefits whatever that means) and a tarnished reputation. its massively tier 3. its the low of the low.

But if you didn't care about the money or the reputation it would be ok? Does it offer consultancy work without having to work 20 hour days?

yeah, 40 hours is the norm and it pays top range for being a big 4. its, how can i put it, a safe bet. Its like a Zizzi - its not Gordon Ramsey by any means, but you know what youll get and you know how much youll pay for it.
