McKinsey graduate salary: 1st year = £35k, no bonus; 2nd year = £38k, up to £5k bonus

I know you didnt ask, but Bain is 34k +5k sign on + bonus (around 4k) :)

What does that work out as at an hourly rate?

About the same as asda.

If you want any help on them as a company or what to expect at interview let me know your email via this forum - I went through their milkround interviews this christmas and will be starting a grad position with them next year.

catherine, Why not join into private equity with the likes of Macquarie, Blackstone or KKR?Someone of your stature surely has a shot.

is this 35 000 pounds per year? Is it before taxes?It gives you about 2k per month!! (i dont know the tax rate)And it is probably for 70hours per week.So if concerning salary, kitchen porter job is even better than this.How come you guys work so hard for such salary??
