Hello, beautiful people I'm 27 years old, and studying in UK at present for my master degree in management. I have 5 years experience in international business sector. Including 2 years working as a sales manager in Dubai, and 3 years working as a project executive in a International trading company. In charge of the heavy equipments import and export, and ASEAN countries bidding project management. The past working experience developed me into a generalist, but not professional. I am doubting my capability on finding a job in consulting or marketing now. Because my past experience seems useless. I sincerely hope that members in this forum could give me some advices. Thank you, awaiting for your kind advices. Sincerely

You have a very good work experience in different sectors. Now, as you are still studying, you need to plan properly hereafter as to in which sector you want to make a career. Your career will get a nice boost if you choose any of the sectors where you have enough experience.

Hi, you could look at doing a Chartered Management Qualification, this is the most prestigious Management Qualification you can gain and with your years of experiance in Management there are a couple of routes you could undertake in order to become Chartered.Chartered Manager is the most prestigious status that can be achieved in the managerial profession which provides a professional status and independent endorsement of your ability to manage and lead.Additionally the status demonstrates your managerial competence to supplement your functional skills, setting you apart and enhancing employability and increases your confidence to make the right decisions to deliver success.Additionally once qualified you will be awarded post nominal letters after your name. One route is the Experiantial route which You would need to meet thefollowing criteria:•Have a minimum of 5 yearsmanagement experience•Be able to demonstrate effective management practice within the last 18 monthsPlease let me know by email at melanie.robinson@managers.org.uk if you need more information.
