1. Report Writing- This was based on a case study which basically was a collation of emails, reports and news memos about different suppliers for a sporting event. In the report it was expected to compare the suppliers and give a recommendation with some justification. There is no right or wrong answer as it is all about writing skills. The test here is of being able to pick relevant stuff from the fluff and documenting it in a logical fashion i.e. intro- comparison-recommendation-conclusion. Make sure you follow this structure. This all is obviously time constrained- 20 mins for reading and 30 mins for writing. 2. Group Discussion- A reading material was provided which was an illustration on short-listing top 2 choices of countries (hypothetical places) to host Olympics. 15 mins for prep and 20 mins for discussion. There were specific topics from the material that we were asked to discuss. Again there was no right or wrong answer. The test here is of being able to work in a team, being an activator, listener and being able to put across your argument. Also, there will be examiners in the room who would look at your body language such as if you are smiling, addressing other members by their name and overall confident whilst speaking.
