Yes, Accenture have a deal with Hitachi Capital for car leasing. In short, the deal means you can take out a PCP at slightly preferential rates, and are not required to pay a hefty deposit upfront

probably none. This is below market rates. Min car allowance 6.5k, normal 8-9k for that level

Does the fact that the car allowance can be used to by a car from a car leasing scheme mean it is less money than an allowance to choose a car from a "traditional" company car scheme?

I'm trying to understand whether using the finance scheme is taxed... So, w.r.t. the 5k that M's get, is the cash amount available to be used on the car car 5k less tax or the full 5k? Also, is there any benefit in kind to be paid on this amount?Thanks

Also, is there any benefit in kind to be paid on this amount?Thanks[/quote]Annoyingly there is no actual car scheme (unless it's been put in place in the last 3 months) so the cash is just taxed at the full amount then you spend it on a personal lease.Just before I left one of my colleagues was trying a campaign to get a scheme instated as it's better for the tax but given most of the staff live in central London I'm not sure he'll get much traction.Pissed me off that IBMers were all cruising around in BMWs
