Hope everyone had a great xmasReceived an offer from ACN just before xmas, and have been reviewing their contract. I've noticed a few points I need some clarity on including the contractor name i.e. CompanyAccenture Services Ltd.Is this the corporate name of Accenture UK or am I being offered a job within Outsourcing arm?Any Accenturians here who'd be nice enough to refer to their contracts and let me know?Thanks in advance

How on earth did the answer to this not become apparent during the selection process? Surely you know which company and post you applied for - unless advised otherwise, you can assume this is the job you are being offered. You're not going to be offered a different job without being told you'd been declined for the one you actually applied for and asked whether you want your application considered for other jobs. If you applied to more than one job and it's not clear which one you got, you should discuss this with the recruiter in the first instance.

Accenture Services Limited is indeed the outsourcing arm so for example, when Accenture take on staff from a client as part of a deal. These staff are employed by Accenture Services. So if Accenture signed a deal with barclays and took on the the barclays IT department then the the barclays IT guys would have their employment transferred to Accenture Services Limited. Hope this helps.

The previous post is incorrect. The internal group named "Services" does refer to outsourcing. However the externally recognised legal entity "Accenture Services Limited" encompasses the whole company, including staff from the "Consulting" group.Please avoid posting incorrect information, I imagine you now have azkay more than a little worried.Azkay, phone your HR contact in the new year to set your mind at rest.

Hi all - appreciate all your posts. I took the first opp to call HR and confirmed this and found out that the name in question is the legal name of Accenture. If it weren't for the Xmas hols, I would've got over this confusion pretty quickly. Anyway, appreciate the help.Best-
