Hi, I'm currently working in HP/Change and am considering jumping ship to either Deloitte or Accenture.Thoughts on both? Salaries?

Both companies are leading consultancy offerings is this overall area, and have good reputations. It depends really what you want to do, and the background you have to date. There are also other consultancies worth considering, although some have a more traditional 'HR' focus, although they might dispute it...

I'd pick Deloitte as ACN HP practice is mainly hard change alongside IT. I know some good people at Deloitte and the work is broader.

To contrast with Acc HP being very centered on hard change and HRIS, I find Deloitte People & Change to be excessively un-business focussed and soft so there's little objectivity or value creation on many projects (IMHO). As Nick says, it depends on what kind of work you want to do and how you like to work.

Thanks, some mixed replies then. What about the culture at each? I've read with interest a number of posts on here that don't exactly speak to highly of Accenture in general (salary etc.). How's things in HP?
