i am a chef with 10 years of experience. Presently, i have enrolled in a MBA course run part time and I am in my second year. My academic grades haves been 55 on an average. I am keemn on becoming a management consultant with any top consulting firm. could someone guide me in this

Without knowing you or having heard your full background, on the basis of evidence presented I would say that your chances are very slim indeed. Your career background is just too far away from the mould -- I'm not sure even an MBA will save you.Sorry to be the bearer of bad news (and others may have different views) but consulting is a very difficult field to break into if you've got an unconventional background.
