.... that in 12 months time, BAS is just another silly department that offers weak offerings with no real USP or differentiator to add value? That the hype was for nothing, except for ruining a few careers. I mean - we dont even have an internet site ffs!The place is a circus. Grab a torch and run I say.

Let's make a bet...that you don't actually work at EY. Because if you did, you wouldn't be posting such drivel.I'm loving every minute of working for BAS. The people are qualified, very friendly and open. The clients are good and the projects we're working on are interesting. The offices are top notch. The company is investing heaviy in building its methodologies properly rather than racing into the market. We've got a compelling, motivating leader. What's not to like? BAS is growing incredibly quickly and has more work than it can resource. Whose career's being ruined?

Then why are you not hiring anymore? Why have intakes frozen? Why have you hired only 12 grads? How did you manage to get kicked out of Thames Water after only so little time?why is your 'high level advisory' work becoming change management and culture assesment? Dont be silly - stop the propaganda. Youre only kidding yourselves.

For the record, we haven't stopped recruiting - quite the opposite. We are actively recruiting into BAS and interviewing loads of people at Exec and Manager level. A quick look at the careers section of this website will confirm that.As to why we have only hired 12 graduates, there's a simple answer. We can only train so many graduates at one time, and we need to keep the ratio of graduates coming into the practice in proportion to the practice growth as a whole. Grads are slightly tricky because you can't just recruit them then send them straight onto a project, so growth plans involving graduates need to be managed more carefully than those of more experienced hires.

Ok lets be honest - it is indeed a bit of a circus in which if you are feeling creative there are opportunities - but its not like heinz baked beans -
