Has anybody had this interview, any ideas of how this is structured? I get the impression from the website that there is firstly a phone interview followed by an interview with HR and Manager with a case study..Im unsure tho? Any tips would be much appreciated

I went through the experienced hire interview process a few months back. It started with a telephone interview with a manager (fairly straightforward) then a face-to-face with an executive (partner) and HR. A case study was used at the face-to-face interview. I was given 10 minutes to review the case study, I was then asked to walkthrough several "what would you do" type questions.Sounds obvious but I would be prepared to demonstrate appropriate consulting skills with examples from your previous work. If you are going for a Manager level role or similar, think about Project Management, Client Relationship Building and Team Leadership skills in particular. You should also make sure you have plenty of background knowledge on Accenture. I asked lots of questions on Accenture as I wanted to hear it from the inside but I believe this was interpreted as a lack of research on my part.I quite enjoyed the whole process but it was painfully slow. It took several months from telephone interview to final decision..

No problem. For the face-to-face interview I was interviewed separately, firstly by the executive and then HR. I was given 10 minutes or so to read the case study which simply provided some background information about an imaginary bank. I was then asked how I would lead a conversation if given the opportunity to talk to senior management at that bank. I was also asked how I would suggest they address various issues (some technology, some not). The case study was not particularly daunting but I would spend more time in advance thinking through the best way to answer those kind of questions if I were to undertake another interview with a case study. The Executive talked through my views on SOA, methodologies and some of the projects I have worked on plus various other stuffHR mainly asked lots of typical HR type questions, for example, my ambitions, my leadership style, how I motivate people, why accenture etc etc.

Thank you for that information. What kind of things are asked on the telephone interview if you dont mind me asking? and how long do the telephone and face-to-face interviews last?Im not great at absorbing lots of information am I right in asuming that the case study is no long than a page?Thank you very much, you have been a great help.
