Hi VI, If youre replying to this thanks in advance. You seem to be quite knowledgeable about Deloitte and I have some specific questions regarding thier Strategy Practice.1) I have been told this practice has just been 'split' from the operations side, no more s&o. How do you see the new strategy practice being rated? Is it similar to Accenture's SBA? Ive heard they really want to compete with 3b's etc - do you think they have the position / talent / resources to attempt this?2) I see many adverts for specific M&A strategy, that implies it is a different group within DC strategy. How is this group? How is it seen by the market and the competition? How is it internally?3) If you could shed some light on SC salaries and the approach DC takes to sponsoring MBA's.I know this is a lot to ask but thank you very much in advance.

Sorry - can't offer any advice on Deloitte's specifically. My previous comment about a 'Consultant' level salary was drawn on more generic Big-4 experience, along the lines that most of the big boys pay roughly within the same bands.

There is still a lot of strategy/operations overlap. Although split in name, it isn't yet split on the ground so people are working across both s&o projects. I expect it will take a while for the definitions of what is a strategy project vs. what is an operations project to kick in and for people to develop a reasonably differentiated experience and skillset. Until then, expect the boundary to flex a lot. The other thing is that Deloitte sells a lot of work across strategy and implementation so is used to combining the different consulting streams - that is likely to continue.
