I am worried by a couple of my applications that I have had no response from.One firm in particular: I applied, then three weeks later followed up with a phone call and confirmed that my CV had been passed onto recruitment and I would get a reply 'shortly', three weeks later I sent another follow up email, and that was two weeks ago and still nothing.Shall I give up and assume that they aren't interested? Do applications frequently just get absolutely NO replies? Are firms really that busy? I would have thought a two line 'Thank you but no' wouldn't be too hard to do...
