Does anyone have any experience / inside information about the Deloitte purchasing practise? (Joey Palito / James Yearsley)?

Firstly, the practise is called "Supply Chain Strategy" and is headed by Joe Ippolito (ex-ATK). They do things like procurement shared services hubs, supply chain reorganisation, strategic sourcing, eProcurement, etc. They are expanding heavily, and have a top-notch team at the moment, with lots of high-profile international projects and a strong blue-chip client base.

you may want to check out EY BAS Supply Chain Practice. I know that they have recruited some ex IBM, Accenture, ATK and Cap Gemini procurement leaders, as well as bringing in some industry expertise.

Joe is a great partner, with fantastic business instincts. Though he is with another consulting firm.
