By definition, most of the things you've asked about will be out-of-scope. By the time SAP are called in to offer advice, the IT strategy will have already been determined and the vendor (eg SAP) will have already been selected.As a consultant at SAP, I would expect a typical project to be one of two things: firstly, helping customers new to SAP configure it correctly and roll out the SAP business processes; secondly, helping existing SAP customers get the best value and process improvement from their SAP implementations.If you don't have career ambitions to work in the SAP space, you're better off going to one of the more generalist IT houses.
