HiI'm about to do an MBA with a view to going into consultancy after I graduate. I have not previously worked as a consultant. During the MBA I'll have the option of learning about Prince 2.From what I have read on the Prince 2 website, it seems interesting. However, my questions are as follows:1. Would an MBA module likely lead to some kind of Prince 2 certification.2. Would that certification likely be an asset when looking for consultancy jobsThank you for your opinion!

1. It's unlikely that you'll attain a PRINCE2 qualification as part of your MBA. You may cover general programme management principles, but it's unlikely that you'll actually be certified. Of course, there's nothing stopping you from sitting the PRINCE2 exams on your own.2. The PRINCE2 qualification looks good on a CV, as it establishes a certain level of competence. It's particularly important if you want to work in the public sector.It's not a long qualification -- I did my course-work and sat both foundation and practitioner-level exams in 5 days.
