I have received an offer from both of these and the offers are pretty much the same. Can any of you tell me which consultancy will be better for the following:1. As a respected name on my CV2. Pay increases / Bonuses3. Work / life balance4. Training / development5. Career progression(not listed in any particular order)Any advice / comments / insights etc would be greatly appreciated as I am stuck and time is running out to decide. Thanks in advance.

IBM has foundations in IT and Deloitte in finance. The history drives the brand, culture and career opportunities available.

I would say that IBM is the one to go for. My experience is that they have much better / friendly people working for them and hence you are more likely to enjoy your work.

How many have you had join from Deloitte recently then?We have had a few come the other way.I've no opinion on IBM (although I think they suffer from not naturally being associated with consulting so much as computers, and note they pay their graduates less) but they appear to suffer from a bad press on this board.
