I'm a Industrial Engineering (/Economics) student at The Royal Institue of Technlologhy in Stochkolm, Sweden. After one year at that university I have been accepted to enstead start studying mathematcs with economics at University College London. After my education I will probably want to work and live in London and so my question is, which education is valued higher? Is it much easier to find a good job in London with an English Education??

depends

I think this depends largely on the particular firm and their recruiting policies. Some will prioritise Oxbridge and a few select redbricks (including UCL), whereas other firms will be happy to venture further afield. Most companies will consider overseas candidates, as long as they can demonstrate that they were in the top 10-20% of their year group, and/or that the university was one of the top 5-10 unis in the country.

I agree with the previous poster. Recruiters in London are pretty open-minded (it's not a multicultural metropolis by chance).Getting your spelling right wouldn't hurt either ;)

Oxbridge plus a few select redbricks is not strictly true...Edinburgh and St Andrews?

Think they are probably classing those as redbricks. Not strictly true I would agree but I don't know there is any other term for those universities falling between Oxbridge and the likes of Manchester et al.As others have pointed out problems can sometimes be encountered in the recognition of foreign qualifications - see earlier post by Swiss ETH graduate.

Allow me to reply in Swedish:Hej FridaJag läste ekonomi och statsvetenskap i England och börjar arbeta i London i september som strategikonsult.
