Considering the same salary:Will you prefer to work as a "number" in a large and glamorous MC firm or as "somebody" in a small one? Which do you consider that are the pros and cons of both situations?

It's better to be known for something, than not known for anything...just as it is better to be smarter than you look as opposed to looking smarter than you are!!

I'd rather work as a "someone" in a large firm! Both routes will (potentially) get you to the same objective. From a professional development point-of-view, I would suggest that you're much better being a "number" in a large and glamorous consultancy. The large firms generally provide a more varied client base, better education, and most importantly, a pedigree on your CV that will serve you well in your future career.I started my career at a Big Six firm, and I've never regretted it. Yes, you're a small fish in a big pond. But the training and education I got was priceless, and having the Big Six branding on my CV has opened many, many doors. Regardless of how talented I may be or how interesting my project experience, a smaller firm simply wouldn't have the same effect on my CV.
