Hi all,I'd very much appreciate some advice from anyone who has ever found themselves in a similar situation to me. I have been an Analyst in Accenture's government group for 10 months and I'm pretty sick of it already.I'm fed up with doing routine, boring work for massive, slow moving goverment IT projects and I would like to move into strategy consulting in order to get more interesting, challenging, varied work.I know I'm still very inexperienced, but I'm hoping that my brief period with Accenture will count for something in the eyes of a recruiter. As far as I can see I have the following options:1. Go back to square 1 and apply for graduate schemes with strategy firms, hoping that my experience will give me a bit of a head start over typical graduates. 2. Try to move into Accenture's strategy section (very difficult apparently - everyone wants to do it!)3. Stick it out with Accenture for a bit longer then go for an experienced hire position somewhere else (a bit more strategy and less IT focused preferably)4. Give up on all this and learn to love Accenture! (unlikely)
