Hi all, I've been working as a consultant at one of the Big 4 for 6 years, working on standard system integration projects in either a technical or business analyst role. I'd like to move into either financial services consulting, or work in house as a business analyst for an investment bank. I don't have any banking experience, and am unlikely to get any at my current employer. Does anyone have any advice for a way to gain industry knowledge/experience to make the move? I am looking at an MBA, or CIMA as an option, but if possible I would prefer to make the move without doing this (due to cost) As an alternative, I could just develop my existing systems analysis and design skills, and try to get a job based on these - but in general, jobs within financial services require financial services experience.Any ideas?
