people culture, what's it like, from everyone's experience?i understand that from the big3-4 companies, BCG has the more laid-back people (completely based on rumors, i'd like them to be confirmed please) and that McK has the career-hungry workoholics..as you see, i have some pretty extreme points of view to work from... can anyone shed some light into this?can you give me insight into other companies as well, please?those are the two companies that interest me most, but i'd love to hear about other companies with good cultures and home-work balance..thanks in advance

I suggest checking Vault and WetFeetPress for very detailed, Firm-specific books and message boards. All the top strat firms recruit from the same candidate pool. I think what differentiates is not so much the culture, as the type of work that each firm pursues.
