I have a financial and telecoms background and recently got my MBA. It seems though that strategy house are only interested in recruiting undergraduates or people who already have a consulting experience. I would be very interested in hearing from anyone who has managed to be recruited by a strategy house coming from an industry background.Thanks!

What sort of financial and telecoms background do you have? Technical? Sales? I am assuming it is not internal consultancy that you were doing in your past roles.
