I graduated college last August (psych major, Univ. Washington).Been working in a Research & Business Foundation as a coordinator/President's on-site secretary when he goes on overseas biz. trips.November marks the end of my 1st year at this company and I'm learning the basics. I get the job done and my bosses like me.Problem is, I'm not learning the specific business-related skills that I need to be a consultant.Currently I'm reading the necessary books about consulting and studying on case studies on my free time. For what it's worth, I worked as a Research Assistant at Monitor Group/Deloitte for a summer when I graduated high school (dad's help getting the internship). They offered me a job but I didn't take it because I wanted to go to college to explore. In short, I didn't know what I wanted to do my whole life until now.I'm in need of a mentor.Any of you who's walked the road before me wanna show me the way? I need your guidance.I want the hands-on experience, and I want to prepare so that I can seize that opportunity.I'm hungry. -JP
