Hello everyone :) I am a qualified playworker and deputy of a after school club charity. I am 21, started volunteering at the setting when I was 16, hired within the year and became deputy of the charity in March of 2013.I have also been volunteering at the local children's hospital for almost 3 years. My goal was to be hired as a hospital play assistant and after a few years hopefully train to become a Hospital play specialist. But recently, in my city there has been restructuring of the hospitals, now moving the 5 play staff of one hospital the main site (which all ready had 14 play staff, despite all of them being women which I believe is somewhat unfair to for some of the male patients). So unless one suddenly quits I am very unlikely to pursue this career, at least for a time.I do want to help people, and I know I have a very good report with people, especially children. If anyone can help provide guidance on how to proceed I will be very grateful.Thank you :)
