Hi I would like to take some advice. need to know few things, if you wish to explain me better..One has just done his metric only after that no more education done by him for some financial problems, he worked in hotels and all, eventually he worked in Computer tanning institute where he learnt computer basic and web design. By producing some of his work he got job in small company and than he moved to development, he worked many small companies and he learnt new technologies. Eventually he become Delivery manager in company he has total 11+ years experience now and he learnt SAP and switching his career on SAP, he don't have any qualification certificate but he has knowledge within his domain and expertise. Without qualification can he get job MNC like IBM, Google.. if not what should he do on that?He is not getting opportunity cause he does not have certificates, if certificates are important why not one should make fake certificates but when it would be find on verification process he might fired, so which is important, if qualification is important than stop talking about experience and if experience is important than stop talking about qualifications, I am not sure what he supposed to do, could you please advice.He did not wanted to put the post online but I did on his behalf, so I am not sharing the name here. how would i go about getting a job at the 'computer tanning institute'? would i need experience or qualifications?

You dont need either. Get a computer and start 'tanning' it

Yes, if someone has experience and skills to accomplish the assigned target, he can surely get the job even if he does not has certificate from a reputed institute. The employers' concern is for output and its quality. However, Global consulting firms today offer short term courses to brighten the career.

Experience is the most important because it will determine your value in the company, however to have promotions or increase in position then qualification is needed.
