Hi, I noticed that everyone in the public sector is getting very excited about Agile these days - probably because they're not very agile and it's a way of standing out from all the other dinosaurs around them! Ha ha. Anyway, what with all this macho talk of SCRUM and suchlike, I wonder whether anybody has made a methodology called SCROTUM? It would be more appropriate to a lot of the douchebags who don't know the difference between a successful project and their own butthole!Why do people feel the need for methodologies like this anyway? Isn't it obvious what to do?

I believe it was a cabinet office thing - determined not to repeat the failures of the past someone told them Aglie would solve all their problems.I'm really not convinced by it.

Agile projects really need to be run as per the methodology; if run badly they are just chaos. It's just spin .... everything is now "digital" .... whereas it was applications or IT, or Technology!Personally I prefer the Prince style of managing and fail to see how public sector would transition to Agile methods smoothly. Scrotum ..... on the other hand could be interesting lol
