Hi Gurus,I have been to mini assessment centre 10 days ago for manager position. Partner interview and presentation went really well according to me whereas written exercise was ok as I was given less amount of time due to logistical reasons on Deloitte part.I have chased them for the feedback and they have suggested that they are awaiting to hear from the business and they will chase. Also person who was handling my case is on leave now and the matter is followed up by her colleague.Is this normal ? Any insight and is there anything I can do to push this further?

Hi H19,unfortunately, as with any big organisation wheels move slowly in Deloitte. So it might take some time...They will come back to you in due time.Do try and check with them regularly though.

Thanks! Partner did gave me his business card and said call me in case you have further questions ! Did anybody had such experience where you have interacted with partner directely? Is it right or it is too much over the board ?

It shows initiative.If the Partner really wants to hire you then they will try to speed the process up.

Deloitte take a while to sift through the documentation. I also know that they are on a recruitment drive at the moment and this is likely to slow down the process for in-progress applicants.I suggest getting an ETA from your "contact" in HR and then calling them if you don't hear then.
