Hello Forum,I have been asked to sit an online technical reasoning test as the very first part of my interview with Newton consulting. Has anybody been through the process before and any pointers will greatly be appreciated.Regards,Sumo

Is this Newton Europe? If so, their approach really impressed me when I was first put forward for a role there. I actually got through the initial sift and then got declined because my University education wasn't good enough (only a 2:1 from a Russell Group uni) nor was my experience (only a year or so in consulting/outsource).I would love to get back in touch when I have more experience though.

Why take someone through to the last stage if their education/work experience (something you know from day one) are not what you're looking for?What a total waste of time & resources.

Yeah, if this is true then maybe they should review their process. Step 1: Check candidate meets criteria. Step 2: Interviews etc. Not the other way around.
