Aged 40 I've just left industry to set up my own consultancy, one which I do not intend to grow beyond myself.I already possess various technical qualifications (i.e. an MSc International Business and graduate-level qualifications and Chartered Memberships from three UK institutes). However, I feel that if consulting is to be my new career, then I should invest in training that will support it. This would give me confidence and answer some of those questions that many of you might take for granted e.g. the consultancy process, how to best structure a consulting report/proposal).I have read a couple of consulting books (cover to cover) and I am learning the ropes by (strategically) picking up work through and acting alongside other larger consultancy firms. I don't think it's enough though.I have read bad reviews on here about the Level 7 Certificate/Diploma in Professional Consulting. Still, bearing in mind that I already have qualifications and my Limited company is just me, could it be useful?Any other ideas?Regards
