Hi,Would anyone know what would be the ideal salary range for a Transition Lead in CapGemini . This is a project manager role in Finance and Accounting domain. They are looking with someone of 10 years plus experience in BPO industry and 5 years in project management.Thnks...

They want somebody with 10 years experience in BPO?I would have thought that, once you get to 8 years experience, you have pretty much encountered everything that somebody with 10 years experience has.In fact, 5 years would be a lot.If I were being very, very cynical I would even challenge whether one is actually allowed to specify such a high level of experience on the grounds that it would rule out younger people (who may be just as knowledgeable and skilled) from applying for the role...Think about it. What would you think if the advert instead said "Must have 30 years experience"? Or, even, if it said "Must have LESS than 20 years experience"...!I guess what they mean is somebody they can put in front of a client who isn't wet behind the ears or who speaks with a squeaky voice ;)
