Hi everybody,I have secured a graduate position within Accenture's Operation consulting group, I am quite excited about the opportunity however I have a few issues that I want all of your opinion's on. As I am not entirely sure of what I want to be doing for the rest of my life I wanted a Graduate position that will be quite broad and not pidgeon-hole me into a specific role, I thought that management consulting would be a good profession to start in.Firstly, I would like to know your opinion of this division and Accenture's management consulting practice as a whole?and Secondly, in turns of future prospects where could the skills from this division lead me in the future? any advice would be appreciated.

Management Consulting is a great place to start your career and Accenture is a good brand for your CV.Hopefully, you will get a chance to work across many different types of projects and industries. I did when I started. This will help you better decide what to do next. You also get the chance to travel, which is especially good in your 20s.For some, consulting is a short term career to then jump into a management position in industry or a technology company. For others consulting is a longer term career choice. Either works.Best of luck with whatever you ultimately decide.
