Deloitte Consulting have 'compressed' salary bands by 3-8% due to the 'macro environment' this year. Has this happened anywhere else?

Whether stated or not - it's been happening in all consultancies at all grades below partner for the last 10 years

Meanwhile, graduates at SAP, Google, Salesforce, Microsoft have seen their base increase by 8% and bonuses by 10%. Plus They all get new macbook, iPhones, iPads and work 40hrs a week!

Has this happened anywhere else?[/quote]My spi..sorry sources tell me this is happening at EY also. Not confirmed if this is a wider phenomenon yet but I can't see KPMG and PwC not doing this also.
