I need some help please...BearingPoint UK, are now recruiting. The brand itself has had a bit of a rocky past and effort is being put in place over the last couple years since the MBO, but is it still regarded as a reputable consulting brand to work for? -Has anybody worked there since the MBO, currently or have left - in particular London? What are your views of the firm?-What, in your opinion, are the pros and cons of the firm?-Has anybody worked alongside Bearingpoint in any engagement - good? bad?-Any views on its management consulting vs technology consulting capability in the market place? --Any thoughts about the management itself? - the partners or senior managers?

Hi I joined BearingPoint (through Top-Consultant) just a few months ago in London and must say that the experience has been pretty good. It has been a breath of fresh air after working for the big giants in the industry for eight years. The smaller size allows you to be entrepreneurial in your approach. Almost all their consultants are engaged in projects right now and growing rapidly. I was on the client site action from day 2 of joining and was very well supported by my colleagues. People in the company come from quite varied cultures/countries and very friendly. Because of the small size, you almost get to know the people quickly including the senior management, who are quite efficient and approachable. They have quite a few service lines dedicated to Management and Technology consulting and are rapidly growing. My first project was a strategy consulting project for a big financial services firm in the UK. Second is project management for a business cum technology consulting project. Hope this helps! Cheers!
