Hi,Does anyone have any knowledge as to how often a consultant at PwC has to travel (nationally or internationally)? Are you more likely to work on international projects if you work in the London office as opposed to Regional? Is there a specific branch to the consulting practise which travels the most?Thank you for your help

Most people I know who work for PwC spend the majority of their time in the UK. However there are exceptions of course. The UK firm also owns the Middle East firm so there might be opportunities there. Like any global business you have to go out and find the opportunity for yoursef. Saying that, the most obvious place I can think of for international project travel is a team within Operations called "Operational Performance Improvement" (OPI) which does have frequent overseas work.

Hi,I work for PwC as a consultant on the grad scheme. I can say you will often travel nationally (approx. 50%) of the time, but would be very lucky to travel internationally. This is because most assocaites like the idea of a project abroad. If you are more senior however the option is far easier to realise as senior staff are more in demand and have generlly more responsibilities at home (family etc) which mean less go for international opportunites.No real difference between offices inside/outside of London and the likelihood of travel of the staff. It is a case of who you know, persistance and luck.Hope that helps
