I interned with them in one of their German offices, so I could get a bit of an insight.- They are definitely the best known pricing experts and have a very good reputation in this field. They also do strategy and sales/marketing projects and try to become stronger in these fields. The client list ranges from Fortune 500 to rather small companies (they are by the way listed on their website if you click on the different industries)- For some projects they compete with the big consultancies but than again for other projects they compete with small unknown consultancies who often focus on a specific industry.- Many pricing projects are empirically based (Conjoint Analysis etc.).- Good place to work? Probably as in most consultancies, it depends on the division/partner you work for. People in general are down to earth and it feels like the CEOs care about their people. Working hours seem to differ substantially from division to division/partner you're working for.- Consultants get usually hired for a specific division/industry and therefore built up an expertise in this industry rather than getting exposure to many different industries (having said this, they want you to work for at least one different division within your first year to find out whether the division you were hired for feels right one for you). This policy might not apply so much to offices outside of Germany, however I'm not sure about this.- Teams are rather small and consultants usually get C-level exposure from early on. This is what many consultants from SKP see as a big advantage compared to MBB.- Hands on mentality and you get high responsibilities from early on.- In the Life Sciences division projects are said to be rather monotonous. However I totally can't judge that myself!- Some internal admin processes could be improved and have a more efficient structure. But than again, the current structure is very informal and easy going.I hope this helps you a little bit to grasp a picture of SKP. Overall I would say it's a good place to work which lets you keep a life outside the office.
