Um, this is confusing. You're aiming for £85-95K basic jobs. So presumably you're not a half-wit. In which case, why do you need help writing a CV? This is basic!

My Friend because I am not a specialist in CV writing.I would probably let someone else do this for me as I am better place to do the rest. Once a recruiter calls me based upon my CV and accomplishments then rest is my baby.I don't want my CV to be put in BIN simply because someone else CV is more flashy than mine other things being equal.Cheers

OK, fair comment. Writing a CV isn't difficult (particularly for somebody of £95K calibre), but I'm guessing it's help with the grammar/language that you need most? If so, why not prepare a first draft yourself, then get a friend who is a native English speaker to tidy up any grammar etc? Cost that way = zero.

Dear Confused,Thanks for the nice suggestion, before this recession I have been writing my CVs on my own and without any friend's help and it's just the worse market condition which a poor chap in his early 30s like me have not been through ever before. Hence, the reason I want to leave no stone unturned. Despite of my poor grammer /language the last CV which I drafted on my own got me a job with six figure salary in boom days it's just that I am being bit more careful whilst thinking to change my job in coming months.Do you expect me to be more polite, I am ex-ACN so better don't challenge my patience ;-)RegdsAnon

MR COOL – imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but…a) I would never capitalise my name - far too egotistical.b) I would never type an ellipsis of more than three dots - far too spotty.c) I would never, ever, ever mistake the word “loose” for “lose” – far too working classOriginal ANON - why not buy a thirsty headhunter friend a few beers in return for a professional assessment of your current CV?

Good use of the word 'eek!' Mr Cool, we don't see if used often enough these days.Although I think an additional e would have given your dismay more emphasis.

Mars A Day,is that "eeke" or "eeek"?I hope you haven't blown your anonimity by refering to your temporary blindness due to an eye op. How many HH's fit that description? You should have said you were at home nursing a hangover - at least 10% of HH's fit that description by the time Wednesday comes around.

Mr Cool the eye op you refer to was of course hypothetical and restricted to the pyromaniac.Surely 'eeke' would mean 'sort of like eek' or a condition of ... eek..ness?And only the most dedicated HHs wait until wednesday before staying home to nurse the hangover. Personally I like to Tuesdays.
